Description
The study proposes the redevelopment and extension of the rectory building, in a medical-assistance facility. The project involves the expansion of the complex, the ground floor will be used for parking and entrance, the first for public functions and common areas, the other floors will instead be used as private spaces, such as rooms (about 40). Architectural design consists of a logical-artistic-scientific process capable of identifying forms, organizations and processes for the creation of dedicated spaces in which man can carry out specific activities such as living, working, relaxing, healing himself, etc. To this schematic definition, however, it must be added that often the design process, however it is understood, belongs above all to a creative sphere in which fantasy, feeling, needs and technique merge into a set of graphic-descriptive schemes. The history of architecture is full of examples of how this can happen. Specifically, the architectural project must reflect, interpret and solve both artistically and technically every aspect relating to living understood in the broadest sense of the term.
